App Review - Android Device Manager

As a part of Android's security expansion, over the course of August 2013, Google will be rolling out a new feature called Android Device Manager. This will be part of Google Play Services so most users should be able to receive this update automatically but should be available in the Google Play store as well.  This service will help users of Android 2.2+ locate misplaced devices by ringing the phone in loud mode or delete all personal data from the device if it is stolen.

Activating this service is as simple as going to Settings, Security, Device Administrators and activating Android Device Manager. It requires permissions to Erase all data, Change the screen-unlock password, and Lock the screen.

Edit: Visit https://www.google.com/android/devicemanager to access web functions for this service. Your device will ring for 5 minutes until you hit the power button. The service must be active on your Android device to use the location service.
